Sustainable Milestones: Reporting Our Achievements

Adams + Oliver use EcoVadis, an environmental reporting platform to manage ESG risk and compliance,
meet our corporate sustainability goals, and drive impact at scale by guiding the sustainability performance improvement of the company and value chain.

On 18th March 2024 we published our first Sustainability and Carbon Emissions Report with an overall score of 68%.

This puts us in the top 75% of all organisations reporting on the EcoVadis platform.

We are incredibly proud of our 100% Ethics score as this is the foundation of our People focussed service delivery.

Environment: 60/100
Labor & Human Rights: 60/100
Ethics: 100/100

We also recognise that we are at the beginning of our environmental journey and there is still a lot of work involved to improve our sustainability scores across the business.

Green Goals, Clear Vision

How We Are Reducing Carbon Emissions

  • At Adams + Oliver, we operate a fully remote working environment, cutting down on energy use and eliminating daily commutes.
  • When travel is necessary, we rely on public transport, avoiding company cars.
  • We use cloud-based servers to minimise the need for extra hardware and devices, and all our equipment features energy-saving functionalities.
  • We maintain a paperless office and a clean desk policy to minimise printing and waste.
  • Any wastepaper or archived documents are securely destroyed and recycled.
  • We prioritise working with local businesses and suppliers near our registered office to reduce transportation emissions.

The Paris Agreement calls for all businesses to reduce their carbon emissions 45% by 2030 and to reach net zero by 2050.

Adams + Oliver is committed to reaching this goal.
